The awesome birthday getaway!

IT'S MAY!!! Daddy's, Kuya TJ's, Viela's, and my birth month so we decided to make that family vacation to motion! We've planned numerous family vacations to Baguio, Subic, Tagaytay, Bohol, Hong Kong, but none were put to life. Alas, it was election day, and this non patriotic family has the time and excuse to head to the beach! hehe

Ze crazy ass Fabie family! :-)
We decided to visit dad first before heading to the beach. None of us are morning people, so we had a small picnic in the cemetery for breakfast thanks to my ever ready, takot magutom mom! hahaha! Me thinks that what actually brings us together is food, regardless if it's carpet like wheat bread! WHEAT BREAD is still food--OKAY?! haha (No, actually I didn't eat the wheat bread). This is our attempt to live healthy after my dad's passing, and my brother's recent hospitalization due to stroke. Thankfully, we survived it all together!

The person who loves the beach most next to my dad is none other than the kids!!!! :) It's so nice that we finally had the time to just sit, relax, and see the kids enjoy the sun. We settled in Virgin Beach resort where the shore is long, and the water is clear. It was indeed a conducive place for the kids to enjoy, and the adults to relax. Not only is the place commendable, but the food is gureaat!!! It was a great break from the msg free food, brown rice diet we have back home. hek hek! :p

Not even the numerous jellyfish turned the kids off, nor did the rain. Their tiny giggles and screams were definitely the highlight of our trip. The joy in the kids were plastered all over their faces, and bliss was palpable. Including Viela who didn't stop crying, and demanded to swim. With her tearful sad puppy eyes, who could resist?

I couldn't wait to see my little pumpkin grow up, and play with his cousins. Trips to the beach is definitely one of the milestones I am dying to spend with my darling Inigo :) For some reason, I know my pumpkin is swimming his way in my tummy saying "I'm a beach boy like my lolo!". hahaha

Kids are adorable. I remember a time when Marikit was asking everyone for money with her hands open. She, and Andres loves carrying a small purse with all their coins loudly juggling while  taking a small trip to the sari-sari store. "Tita, money!" she exclaims with conviction. To which I replied with, "You eat rice first then we go to the store". Someone tried to bribe her with a one thousand peso bill to eat rice. "No!!!", our future principal, Marikit replied. hhahahaha

While I'm still growing my darling Inigo in my tummy, I played with my cutiepatootie niece Marikit. I've never met a 2 year old who fascinates me as much as she does! :-) She made me lambing all the way home and fed her even if my tummy was grumbling mad. I realized the sacrifices moms do for their kids, and just how much I am willing to do for my little Inigo. It was indeed an opportunity for me to work on my lack of maternity instincts, but so far I can say I'm doing quite a good job.  :-) *congratulatorypatintheback*

My mom was having a rough time, after spending 2 weeks in the hospital with my brother. We organized this trip to help her get back in shape. But nothing makes her happier than seeing all her grandchildren run to her and say "Lola! Chiswis!". HAHAHAHAHA :)))

The wandering dork is now resigning (temporarily) from her backpack and girly purple trolley to her over priced baby bag. Maybe one day I'll go back to travelling with a new label, The adventures of the wandering dork, and Inigo.
